How We Work
When you book with Sundial, our driver meets you at the gangway holding a sign with your name on it. You do not need to find a meeting point inside the terminal or navigate to an outside street. Our guides carry port-access credentials issued by Kuşadası Cruise Port authority, which allows them to enter the secure pier area and collect you directly from the ship.
Our drivers are identifiable by a gold Sundial lapel pin worn on their uniform jacket. The vehicle will be clearly marked. All our cars and minibuses are air-conditioned, well-maintained, and licensed for passenger transport.
We do not operate large coach tours. Groups are kept small — typically 2 to 12 passengers — so that you receive personal attention, can move at a comfortable pace at the ruins, and reach the ship well ahead of all-aboard time.

Return Guarantee
Every Sundial shore excursion includes a return guarantee. We schedule all tours to arrive back at the cruise port with a minimum 90-minute buffer before your all-aboard time. This buffer accounts for traffic, unexpected site delays, and the time needed to pass through port security and reach the gangway.
For the Jeep 4×4 Mountain Safari, the return guarantee is contractual and written into your booking confirmation. The full-day format of this tour involves longer distances and mountain roads, so we formalise the commitment in writing. If unforeseen circumstances mean we cannot return you on time — which has not happened in our operating history — we coordinate directly with the ship's port agent.
For all other tours, the same 90-minute buffer applies as a standing operational standard. We track your ship's all-aboard time from the moment you book and adjust departure schedules accordingly if the ship updates its port schedule.
