Sundial Travel Agency (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a TÜRSAB-licensed (#3187) travel agency based in Kuşadası, Aydın, Türkiye. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable data-protection laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where relevant.

1. Data We Collect

When you submit a booking inquiry or contact form on our website, we collect:

• Name and email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Tour preferences, travel dates and party size
• Country of residence
• Messages you voluntarily send us

We also collect standard server-side logs (IP address, user-agent, page visited) for security and performance monitoring. We do not use tracking cookies or analytics services that transmit personal data to third parties.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information solely to:

• Respond to your tour inquiry or booking request
• Confirm and manage your booking
• Send you relevant pre-trip information
• Comply with Turkish tax and regulatory obligations

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Data Retention

Booking records are retained for seven (7) years to satisfy Turkish accounting and tax-record obligations. Inquiry records where no booking was made are deleted after 24 months of inactivity.

5. Security

All form submissions are transmitted over TLS (HTTPS). Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Access is restricted to authorised staff only.

6. Third-Party Services

Our website uses Pexels and Unsplash images (served from their CDNs). These services may set cookies in accordance with their own privacy policies. No personal data from our forms is sent to these services.
