From a single desk in Kuşadası in 1998 to a TÜRSAB-licensed (#3187) multilingual concierge today — Sundial has grown across 26 seasons without losing the human touch that small operators are loved for.
Our Story
One harbor. Twenty-six seasons. Hundreds of thousands of stories.
Sundial Travel Agency opened its doors in Kuşadası in 1998, the year the cruise port began its modern boom. Our founder Yusuf Gündüz was a TUREB-certified guide who believed shore excursions shouldn’t feel like cattle drives — they should feel like being shown around by a knowledgeable cousin.
That philosophy shaped everything that followed: small groups, Mercedes Vito vans instead of coaches, native-speaker guides for every major European market, and the unbreakable rule that no cruise passenger has ever missed their ship in 26 years.
Today Sundial operates from its Kuşadası harbor office as a fully licensed TÜRSAB agency (#3187) and is one of the longest-running independent tour operators on the Aegean coast.
In 2026 we welcomed Yasin Hayta as our digital partner, bringing 8 years of e-commerce, technology and multilingual marketing experience to a 26-year heritage. The result: traditional Turkish hospitality, modern booking comfort.
